Im trying to setup a filter in thunderbird where if I recieve an email from a specific address it will foward it too another address.

Does anyone know about an extention to do this ? :)

I searched the mozilla site but didnt really find anything.

I should also point out that im using IMAP, not pop3.

That shouldnt make a differance.

Don't ignore the community though, let Mozilla know you need this feature and it's lacking from 1.7. It's the only way to move forward.

Interesting... are you guys using the standalone client or the mozilla package of everything?

As the standalone client i'm using the latest official release (1.0.7(20050923)) and it's definately in there.

I should also point out that im using IMAP, not pop3.


That shouldn't make a difference. The Message Filters thing is a global option so if even assuming it can't work on IMAP servers it'd still BE there in case you add a pop3 account. Just to make sure and cover your bases try creating a bogus pop3 account and see what happens.
