Go see Aussie Home Loans. They'll save you.

btw, they don't actually give you money, they are like an index service, they find you the best offer for your needs out of the 100's avaliable.

My parents went through Aussie Home Loans... ended up with Maquarie or something...

As A_W said, they will find the best loan for your situation... but contrary to what he said, they do actually lend themselves also.

All sounds good.

Aussie are a good company like that. however they dont always get you the best solution, the best loan in the current market, yes, best for you overall, not always. Thats what i want to talk to home loaners about.

cheers

Mate just picked up one that i'm looking at.

3/4ths of the loan amount fixed for 3 years at 6.45%
1/4th as a line of credit variable interest.

that way when you need cash you always have the line of credit available, and they give you credit card to spend through, which autopays off from the line of credit each month.

commbank. They are ok but I cbf changing to someone else. Although, I'm sure if you shop around you will find a better bank. I was gonna go with ING but the silly pricks dont even have 1 single loan branch in Brisbane.

if you are looking to buy, and you think you may be eligible for the $7K first home owners grant, hurry up and buy cause they may take it away.

Yeah I went through a really good mortgage broker. If you're in Brisbane talk to him:

Gary Young
Home Loan Connexion
PO Box 7659
Toowoomba, Qld 4352

Mobile: 0407 64 66 32
Fax: 07 4636 4841

he's based in toowoomba but makes plenty of trips to brisbane. he did all the legwork, all the paperwork everything.

let me know if you use him so I can get the referral bonus :P

mortgage brokers dont get you the best deal for you, they get you the best deal for them.

and its still an old traditional loan structure.

im not going to pimp myself or who im with here its not what this thread is about. if people want help they can contact me, im always willing to help. this thread is to do some research on who out there in qgl land has what.

i know i can help 95% of them, because they are on old style loans and paying interest up the yang.
