TMPGenc DVD Author 1.6 ftw
Tho there are some dvd players that will basically play most movies now anyways.. if not, WinAvi is a treat too. |

ulead is very good. all their stuff works. also tmpgenc dvd author 1.6 is awesome for the ability to manually inserts chapetrs and ease of burning.

for fantastic results and ease of use, i'd go Nerovision Express.
works very well. has chapter selection, menu creation, video capture even. |
