Saw that Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 1 (and Internet Tools, whatever the hell they are) is now available for download over at Microsoft.

The newest version of Internet Explorer includes improved support for DHTML and CSS, which gives Web architects greater control over browser appearance and behavior. Enjoy the ability to preview Web pages exactly as they will appear when printed.

Doesn't really say too much more about it, so personally I'm not overly interested. Anyone brave enough to try installing it, it would be great to hear your feedback/horror stories.

I really cant see any diference... I mean, i tried using some advanced css and s*** and its still the same... DHTML, well i dunno but CSS is still the same from what I can see and good ole billy still hasnt fixed it properly...

(eg. It still runs like a s***box)

lets face it..Ie 5.5 is evil *period*. On both my work pc (celery 566 running 98se) and home pc (k6-2 400 running win me), I have nothing but problems with ie 5.5...first chance I get i'll be going back to ie 5.01...and death to windows me too....

Sif IE RX7 wouldn't cain IE WRX.....
