The Rebal Act Studio's RPG Severance: Blade of Darkness has finaly been released in the English version, I downloaded this earlier on in the week in spanish for a look, and found it to be quite a good demo, reminded me of a cross between Rune the new swordslashing game from Human Head and one of my old best fun games for a 386 in EGA, Golden Axe.

Important to note for 3DFX users, somthing I just noticed on VE is that there is a fix for problems using glide:

This file must be copied into the "bladein
aster" directory where the demo was installed.

VERY IMPORTANT:
This Glide version is still under development and doesn't support all the graphical features of the game. It does not support Voodoo 3 or higher.

This demo is 100 odd mb so its not for the bandwidth challenged! We will try to get a local copy going soon. If you get stuck in the demo there is a game guide here on Blade Universe.
