predict super massive ratings and a long life with ongoing movie roles for those amazing gladiators!!!

It was tolerable but safe. All they needed to do to improve on the format was to give the Gladiators more personality (e.g. WWE) and it would be an amusing show. Make up some stupid story background for the Gladiators and give them more of a chance to trash talk the contenders. For example, Sam the Contender was amusing only because he was such a loser. Sure the show would still be lame, but that's the point. Why stop half way?
