firefox + flashgot + flashget 1.73 don't use the 'new' version of flashget, get the classic. the 'new' one sends some data constantly to an ip address in china.
helps if you tell us which one you use so we don't all suggest the exact same one. edit: oh "free download manager" is the name of it? who the hell calls their program that? last edited by whoop at 15:54:32 26/Mar/08 |

Another vote for Downthemall; I just used it to easily snag a bunch of videos from some website that had ~500 links of various other videos - I was able to just put in a simple wildcard like "hellman*.z??" and it nabbed all the files I wanted.

wtf... torrents?? if I am using a dl manager to get s*** from my isps quota free site overnight I don't want the dl manager to grab the file from somewhere else. |
