So I'm getting this weird problem with my plasma. Dead pixels but its not like LCD dead pixels because they kind of flash and then go away and are mainly noticeable on darker images after something light has been there.. its hard to explain.

is there a way to fix this or does it mean its on its way out...

are you using hdmi? sounds like sparkles caused by a dodgy hdmi cable dropping information

can you take it back and replace it with an lcd?

It does it on all imputes..even my dvi input from the PC.
and yes its like sparkles, that would be a more accurate description..

What kind of plasma? is it using hitachi ALiS technology? It may be an issue with the way its refreshing the screen.

Sprite is refreshing as is Peach Ice Tea.
