Does anyone know any programs to accomplish this?

Desired features: Messaging, opening stuff, editing files, system info, reformatting, etc...

If anyone could name a product along these lines (preferably freeware, btw) id be grateful.

Using a trojan is legal if you have the right to access the other computer.

I do that s*** all the time (bar the formatting thing) use a program called VNC, it's like PC anywhere, but doesn't cost a dime. (and yes, my use is legit, hell both computers are mine so I don't think anyone else is gonna care).

Netbus is good to piss people off with, but yer sub 7 is ya best bet.

It isn't illegal either, unless the other person dun like what you are doing.

use netmeeting, it comes with windows so you don't need a 3rdparty util, it doe sthe job

BO2K (Bakc oriphice 2000) is, I think the best one. But there is others that are good too (Sub7). I used to think I was cool cuz some program helped me close and open someone's CD-ROM and play with other peoples files but the novelty dies quickly. All I gotta say is that the servers that you have to execute on their computers can get detected by quality Anti-Viruses so be carefull. The safest way for you to do something like this, is to open one of their Napter-like program and share their HDD but to do this you have to phisyscally go on their comps.

VNC won't get detected by anti-virus software and it allows u to piss people off :o)
