my sister and her family went to fraser island on thursday morning. I rang them friday morning and they were like "yeah it's pretty wild, but we should be right". that night I got a message saying they were on the way home.
funny thing is that's how their last fraser trip ended - the island was being evacuated. they're like that rain god in the hitchhiker's guide, only for cyclones.
