what are they?

Just been watching the Bourne series and Casino Royale over the xmas break, they are freaking awesome.

Of course there are probably heaps more that I can't think of at the moment, so post your favourite movies..

STAR TREK!
http://www.kylebunch.org/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/star-trek-inspirational-poster.jpg

But in all seriousness, its not my favourite movie or anything but I recently felt like revisiting Apollo 13 again. Great movie.

Casino Royale was definitely my favourite Bond movie. Little long but the new direction is much better than the old 'gadgets this, gagdets that' style of Pierce Brosnan etc.

I've yet to see a bad movie with pirates in it.

I have lots of movies I really enjoy. A lot of them already mentioned.

Favourite is still Aliens: Director's Cut.

That said, if you're after some more Christian Bale (and let's face it, why wouldn't you be?) I recently rewatched Empire of the Sun. 1987 Speilberg film. Bale was still a kid at the time, but damned if he didn't deserve an "Oscar of the Decade" or something.

That's what I pretty much based my favourite movie list on. There are plenty of movies that I enjoyed but just can't watch them over and over.

Speaking of Shawshank, there was supposedly a prison escape earlier (somewhere?) that followed the same principle, but I have to wonder when they crawled through a river of s*** did they come out clean?
