Most bottle-o's will be open but might have much more limited hours. It's a public holiday but the only public holidays without open bottle-o's are ANZAC Day and Xmas AFAIK.

I've went off Beam a while ago as well, moved to Slate and McKenna. Much nicer imo, actually I got a bottle of McKenna for Christmas yesterday so I'm stocked for today.

Yesterday my sis and I made the best punch ever. Goon, ginger ale, tropical fruit juice, Vodka and champagne!!! So good.

I'm having a break, haven't been sober and hardly slept since daft punk, hope my brain can return to normal function by new years eve.

I know what you mean - after i finished exmas we pretty much drank for 3 days straight, literally only stopping to sleep for a couepl of hours here and there. It took me over 5 days to fully recover:/ Never doing that again (or at least until next exams).

Haha I have a bucket of that stuff.... not much tequila though.. can i use a mix of tequila and vodka to get over the line...?

mate its got a very strong bittersweet taste so it will mask any light coloured spirit, just dont use bundy or burbon in it if u get my drift.

Kat, try Malibu + Tropical/Pineapple juice.. it's the only thing my girlie will drink but she loves it.

Southern Comfort makes me ill now. I used to drink it when I was a kid, same with Malibu. I reckon if you were a bourbon drinker (Beam being a close approximation to bourbon ;)), you could try Canadian Club or Wild Turkey... Canadian Club is a single malt that is very similar to bourbon, but it isn't quite, and is quite smooth...

actually Mantra may be onto something there, CC is one helluva great drink that is for sure!

But ive just got home with my bottles of SC so too late :P
