I used to work at a store in a shopping center that sold red bull. I think it cost us $2 and then it went up to $2.20 or something.

A can at a bloody club can cost you (the clubbing guy wanting to get drunk) 3 to 5 dollars. Hell ive seen them sold at corner stores for 3 bucks. 2.20 is a bargain for red bull

Has anyone ever seen the original Red Bull (the thai one) for sale anywhere? It's apparently sold in Australia, but I've never been able to find it...

i normally get it from one of the asian grocers in chinatown... either yuens or burlington (can't remember who stocks it). In case you've never seen it before, it's in a short, bronze can.

There's supposed to be a stronger version that comes in a glass bottle, but i don't see it on sale here. a friend of mine just brings a carton with him everytime he travels to thailand.

Fish I havn't seen the square bottles for years now. Had the same ingredients in less solution, was like drinking awesome treacle :)

stocked up at home last week from woolies, $15 for two 4 packs

my misses works in a local pub and she said just for 1 can is $5, i think a vodka and red bull in a 7 glass was $6.50 also.

Personally I think Red Eye Platnium s***s all over V AND Red Eye. Its got green tea and Ginko Biloba in it which helps ya think straight (instead of being all jittery) plus has similar amounts of caffiene and tastes s***tons better. AND they are only $2 at coles.

Maybe a little advertising is in order? Never heard of that drink before ^^^ Will try it out...

ps - Make sure its the platnium in the 330ml blue bottle. The rest of the flavours other than Passion (purple bottle, and rarely sold anywhere) taste like s***.

I cant stand the taste of any of the Red Eyes.
But platnium is the least s*** out of all of them.

Platinum tastes a bit like fruit tingles. It makes for a good mixer with many things.

But I agree the rest of the red eye flavors are rubbish.

i used to get em for free from my last work, ofcourse they didn't know that :D

Also the Thai Red Bull can be bought from most asian groceries. $34-$36 for a case of 24 cans.

The Thai Redbull in bottles have a f*** ton more energy verus the cans.
I've had trouble finding the bottles in bulk :(

Thai RedBull is sickly sweet T_T.
But awesome with some good Vodka like Grey Goose and soda.
I also like it because it's non carbonated.

I prefer the taste of the normal red bull over the thai version. Have to agree with the sickly sweet statement, pitty because its so f***en cheap over there.

yeah u can definitely buy those glass vials of red bull that they sell in thailand here in brisbane.. my housemate used to get em from an asian supermarket in teh valley i think. forget which one. he's in london now :(. ill try get in touch with him.
