f***ed for anyone else ?

Losing sync every 4 minutes, driving me f***ing spare. Can't see anything on the website about it??

Generally losing sync isn't an exchange issue, not saying it isn't but in my experience 90% of the time it's the specific connection.

big "pond" usually electronics and water don't mix, best advice, look for some gold fish in the big pond and make friends.

nah if it were rain you'd be getting more of the low sync/no sync, where rain seeps into the joint or unsheathed pair and induces crosstalk. I'd check the points around the house for foreign battery (ie is your filter behaving).

Call up tech support. The outage you see on the website is s*** compared the system they see. Also a line test will pretty much check for foreign battery and line condition.

Speedtouch is a *fantastic* modem considering it's age
You can even run annex m on those beasties!
The 2701 which bigpond deployed should also last the distance (heh but no voip port). The firmware used to have high-sync rate issues but this is a while back now
