HTTP 500 After logging in.

I've googled, can't find anything.

Currently running

SBS 2003
Exchange 2003 SP2
ISA 2004 All the latest SP's, 4 I think
Exchange is running as a virtual back end server for RPC over HTTPS

Super specific there. One would assume it would be a permissions issue?

I know nothing else...

Have you turned off friendly HTTP error messages?

Yeah its just doing that because it was in IE tab.

When off it displays a slightly less pretty version

HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

check iis logs for more revealing information, it's probably because your associated user in IIS doesn't have access to those directories or something stupid like that
also because it might not have scripts enabled etc etc

I'd also look at disabling FBA just as a test..

I saw similar issues, I think it had something to do with the types of authentication allowed on the virtualhost in IIS. Had to match up with the settings in the System Manager under HTTP. I remember randomly messing with them until it suddenly started working.

Reboot resolved by the way, but I still need to diagnose.

Also, Epic I think that link is redundant now that we're upto SP2 I think that bug was fixed
