strongly considering going now, some of my fav dnb tracks are from high contrast

ANGRY Good Vibrations festival promoter Justin Hemmes has questioned the council's motives after it rejected his application to run the event on the Gold Coast.

In a landmark decision, councillors led by Mayor Ron Clarke voted 7-3 against approving the February 10 music festival at the Doug Jennings Park at The Spit.

still up in the air however as article claims state government can overrule as they own the site... speculation it could be moved to riverstage/botanical gardens.

i like the spit even though so many people seem to hate it. spit > parklife set up.

spit is horrible to get people in and out of, its a nightmare for production, its logistically a s*** venue.

in other news - Thievery Corporation (Live 20 piece) HELL YES!

God I hope it's at Riverstage and not at the Spit, that was so s*** last year. Bit disappointed with this years line-up but will probably go just to see Thievery Corporation.

i dont care for your setup hassles, i like cool breezes, nice scenery and room to move about and get down

we've never had any issues getting to and from

we've driven and parked just up the road, got in and out easy enough (sure it wasnt speedy, but it wasnt worse than any other packed event) and we've walked and stayed on the gold coast, for extra fun times

if you'd have gone to the meeting you would know that because bartenders have an almost insatiable appetite for red bull, free red bulls only available from the sign in shed this year. which bar will you be in scoobs? i'm in roots bar.
