hello all, im finishing uni next year (currently deferred) and im over hospitality and im looking for pretty much anything to last me through until i go back. Im available full time and would prefer mon to fri etc, icouldnt really give what it is but wouldnt mind data entry or something along the lines of a desk job, but i am open to pretty much anything, i live in the valley so any location around the vicinity would be ideal. If anyone could help out it would be much appreciated, i just want my weekends back for a couple of months. Email. msheahan64@hotmail.com thanks

If you have a drivers license apply at the Australia Post delivery center somewhere around you. Tis about 3-5 hours a day, in the afternoon, pays well. They also have mail sorting and whatnot.

Thats what I did last year and now I am finishing my degree this year with a year experience. |

I'd look for work in whatever you're studying. It will prove immensely useful.

You can still do the vans over the holidays as a casual though, 2 - 3 months work... and like Toll said, it's roughly 3 hours of "working" in a 7 hour 21 min shift... and even when you're working, you just drive around in a cosy van at snails pace with a CD cranking. |

i work at a courier company. a girl quit and a bloke who provides his ute for her at whatever the $$ are. better than minimum wage (i think) but need to be prepared to work long hours. but no weekend work. you southside. hours are generally about 7am till 6pm on average.
its not easy to get a purely driving job without owning a vehical unless you have MR/HR etc etc licence. so much of the industry is owner driver now. driving isnt for everyone but if you like a non skilled job with noone on your back all day it goes alright. heavyimpactmetal@hotmail.com no desk job but hey its pretty cruisy as long as you arent a dead s*** with no organisation skills. |
