there is an old 1980's documentary called 'a case for ufos' which i recommend for anyone who wants to believe that aliens travel interstellar distances to visit earth so they can anal probe american hillbillies. ;p it follows the american airforce's collection of 'ufo' sightings from the 50's to the 80's were 99% of all reports where proved to be misrepresentation or hoaxs. it also tells of how the ufo mythology amongst certain types of people just grows stronger in the face of overwhelming evidence against it.

I agree with you, Obes, I think it's very unlikely that we're alone in the universe, and I also think it's kind of arrogant to believe otherwise. I highly doubt any lifeforms have come to visit us, but they must be out there. Otherwise, the universe is a very inefficient use of space.

I disagree. If we're using the argument that the universe is practically infinate, therefore there must be other life. Then we must say that there's SO much other life, that it's an almost certainty that somewhere there's a race of aliens that DOES travel through space in saucer shaped ships.
