The article says that they didn't get complaint calls until melbourne talkback radio started to talk about it this morning - most of the complaint callers hadn't actually watched the Chaser program.

These guys are awesome, I agree with them. So sick of hearing about people who were c***s before they died and then it all changes afterwards. Has this country lost its ability to take the piss?

Everyone that complains or feels that it is inappropriate needs to watch that ronnie johns chopper 'harden the f*** up' clip as a bit of a reminder. We don't wear helmets on football fields and we don't complain about 'inappropriate' humour.

Was just on CH 10 news, even Howard and Rudd had to put their 0 cents worth in.

Funny how the whole point of the song - that you can't say anything bad about someone once they've died - was missed by the the people that complained. (Indeed, they actually proved that very point!)

I really didn't find it funny hey, i wasnt insulted or really shocked by it... kinda disrespectful though.. be pretty gammin if someone said similar about someone i knew that had died . Just seemed kind of lame ... and pointless

Pretty funny. And yeah, getting tired of the Chaser haters TBH. It's all done in humor, so why can't people ignore it. f***ing lol @ the people ringing up who didn't even see it.

Hmm also, didn't know that it was Chris Taylor who wrote some of the songs. Just assumed Andrew Hansen himself wrote them himself.

What I would find really hilarious is if every one of the chasers got mauled by a pack of wild dogs. Seeing a pack of wild animals tearing apart another bunch of wild animals really tickles my funny bone.

It certainly did have a point, and a good one. It also made light of the death taboo, which is always a positive thing.

i thought it was pretty funny. not hilarious, but still a chuckle. overall i rate it the same as most other chaser s***. chuckleworthy, but very tired and over rated after so many years. i personally thought chasers had run its course by a couple of years ago.

i was suprised at all the hubbub today, even though i should have seen it coming when i heard some other regular chaser viewers make particular note of it last night. i still dont see what the big f***ing deal is

the anna corin(sp?) bit at the end made me snort when i heard it. maybe only because i think she has a cute nose

as someone mentioned before - harden the f*** up - its comedy. quite often comedy will offend.

maybe its a concerted effort by all of the australian networks to help the show gain ratings in a global market /conspiracy bulls***

I must say, over the past few months, I've been finding myself laughing less at the Chasers. I still like the show, but it doesn't seem anywhere near as witty as it used to.
