Here's a little piece of information I've learned:
All mobile phone software suites are utter s***. Seriously, I don't think I've come across one that has actually been good. I've used some that are less crap than others, but that's about it. And the Nokia suite was the worst offender in my case. It took me ages just to find XP drivers, so I don't know how much luck you'll have tracking down ones for something as new as Vista, particularly if you're using x64. |

All mobile phone software suites are utter s***. Except for Windows Mobile devices....specificly the Windows Mobile 6 phones that integrate easily with windows vista, as it already has the active sync software installed :D |

Just install the PC suite, and it should put the modem drivers on there for you. Make sure you don't plug the phone in until the software is fully installed.

A hax way to do it with the original software is to log in as administrator, and change the security settings to get rid of the confirmation dialog. Then with a fair bit of fiddling around you should be able to get it working.
Much better way to do it is to get the updated pc suite software from nokia that supports vista. You may still need to hack around security as per above. |

I googled for some drivers for my phone, not sure if they're hacked or what and then there's this other program that lets me edit the system files/folders on the phone to delete all the bulls*** the factory puts on there then protects so you can't delete through the phone and takes up space. I have a Motorola though.
