Hi guys and gals
If you had the chance to come to a massive LAN with a clean and fun atmosphere what would you say? How much would you pay? What games you play? I have a good idea to the answer to theses question based on part experience but require a more input to fine tune the event. I have a Indoor Basketball Court that can be used with all the amities in the complex on the south western side of Brisbane. The basic game playing time table would be as follows: -first up in the morning we would have warm up rounds of most games while people come in and get setup. -after a good warm up people will have to register for the games they wish to compete in. -short free play time while the game rounds are planned. -Start the Gaming. start playing the knock out rounds to find the champions in the given games (while the rounds are being played there is a nothing stopping other player to start there own games and having fun with new friends.) -Once the rounds have finished a free play session is open -Awarding of prizes form the games and other wacky and weird awards. The awards would round up the LAN till next time. So guys basically we have the backing and the guts to do this event and would like to make it a regular event and hopefully get bigger and better. But we need the support off the games to come and make a LAN what it is. It would be a all ages event with supervision, no drugs, no alcohol and food and drink provided on site. If you can give us any advice or know of some one who would love to be involved even it is a company drop me a line at mahartika@supernerd.com.au thanks guys look foward to hearing your inputs regards michael |

What have you got in the way of infrastructure and equipment?
ie: chairs, tables, power, servers and kilometers of network cabling. |
