So those of you who have ever used Microsoft Visio will be familiar with that annoying little habit it has of autoformatting boxes after you edit info in them. At work we have set sizes and colour code things, and whenever I edit something in a box, the top one or two lines of text jump up a size and turn black. I have tried disabling autoformatting but this doesn't seem to help.

Does anybody know how to stop this auto correction?

Have you tried changing the default characteristics/properties of the shapes before using them. I can't remember but I am sure you can change the stencils default formatting, alas it's been over 4 months since I used Visio last whilst doing some business analysis on service delivery for BHP Billiton/BMA Coal Process Control Network i.e coal production management matrix.

Switch to MS Paint, it has the Box tool, circle tool and a text tool.
