Topic: looking for a HDMI splitter

Is it possible to buy one of these connections so I can have my PC and an XBOX 360 plugged in to the tv at the same time?

All I can find are splitters that go from the main source and pipe it out to mutliple displays. I wanna do the opposite of this.

The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a licensable audio/video connector interface for transmitting uncompressed, encrypted digital streams. HDMI connects DRM-enforcing digital audio/video sources, such as a set-top box, a Blu-ray Disc player, a PC running Windows Vista, a video game console, or an AV receiver, to a compatible digital audio device and/or video monitor, such as a digital television (DTV). HDMI began to appear in 2006 on prosumer HDTV camcorders and high-end digital still cameras.[1][2]

It represents the DRM alternative to consumer analog standards such as RF (coaxial cable), composite video, S-Video, SCART, component video and VGA, and digital standards such as DVI (DVI-D and DVI-I).

So you want a switcher, not a splitter?

Why would you throw away your PC Powerplay mags?? I've got all the issues going back to when Q2 came out.

Anyway, I can't see any review about them in the Bioshock issue. Damn you for getting my hopes up.

EDIT:
So you want a switcher, not a splitter?

Yeah, that would work too. I didn't think to search for that.

i looked at a few but they were all $100+ so i just got a short 1m hdmi cable with a female connector on the end to plug into my projector & would swap the 2 male inputs from my dvd player or computer.

Nah, DM. I'm not after something like that. I'm talking something simple like a double adapter for two power cords. Not an AV reciever that costs $2000.

I got an issue that is a sneak peak/concept at Red Alert.

I can't throw away memories.

Awesome, thanx heaps demon. That's pretty much exactly what I was after. I'll remember switch, not splitter next time.
