Ok, here's the story, I picked up 2 really old retro speakers that measure about 21cm x 10cm x 17cm... i'd post pics bue cbf'ed at the moment.

The still work but sound like crap... but then i bought it to jam in new speakers/electronics/whatever into them anyway...

so here comes the question, what would you recommend as a decent set of speakers that would fit in there (i'm not adverse to pulling apart the new speakers) and won't cost a bomb?
