Just watched the pilot ep to this and damn it was awesome.

Sam Oliver has always been the slacker with no goals or purpose. However, his life takes an unprecedented new direction on his twenty-first birthday, when he discovers that his parents sold his soul to the devil and he must now become Satan's personal bounty hunter.

Dunno when the next ep is coming out, there doesn't seem to be anything other than the pilot being listed at tv.com . I really hope this doesn't get canned because it looks like it's gonna be a real kick-ass show. It has everything to make it worth watching: humour, action and girls. Sorta a cross between Clerks and Constantine.

yer watched it a couple of weeks ago. thought it was pretty funny + kevin smith directed it so thats a bonus. also candice from heroes is gonna be the love interest chick in the rest of the eps. f***en yum.

Been meaning to grab the pilot for this, the pilot was directed by kevin smith (or maybe written, or maybe both?), but I dunno if that means he'll be doing the series as well, assuming it got picked up.

official site. Not HBO, so I assume its not hardcore violence, nudity, language and sex?

edit: just watched the trailer on that site ^ - ah, its a comedy thing. looks vaguely entertaining

ive grabbed an ep of it, but havent checked it out yet;

as far as new shows go from those pre-airs, the big one for me is californication - it is awesome


john from cincinnati is the best new show that's actually aired.

LOL, that's what I was thinking.

Although in that trailer the chicky babe is completely different to the one in the pilot ep I just watched. Nikki Reed, the honey bunny from Thirteen was the lead, that trailer had some other girl who is even more of a honey bunny.

That Californication show is awesome as well but again, I can't see any other eps besides the pilot one that has been out for a few weeks. Still gotta get around to watching John From Cincinnati.

i thought it was pretty lame really, but i might follow it anyway since theres not much out there im into right now.

i thought Chuck was alright though, while still being just as lame

californication was pretty funny, plus it has heaps of boobs. david duchovny does well in comedy

bionic woman was pretty lame too but still better than chuck and reaper, although takes itself too seriously.

sarah connor chronicles will probably worth following, if only to see summer glau get her gear off hopefully with some regularity

cant remember what other pre-air pilots i watched apart from those recently

sarah connor chronicles is as b grade as most tv but if a termibator appears every week to kill them rather than story progression will really suck

pushing daisies is quirky fun too.. and also about death.

Looks like it could be good for a laugh. I've been into Kevin Smith's work since Mallrats (thought there was several duds in there) plus I've also met the guy, pretty cool fella in real life. The premise of the show seems loosely based on ghostbusters, at least it kinda reminds me of that with the idea of sucking these demons into a vacuum device.

smith only directed the pilot. he isnt a writer for the show or anything.

it starts today, tuesday here - monday Night in the US, so that puts australia a week behind, unless they play catchup.

though for a show like this it may not be too bad, just means you can't follow it on the net at all.

Well the last ep of Reaper has aired for the season and what started off as an average beginning certainly turned around and finished awesomely. Really happy with the direction the show went because it would have been extremely ghey if every ep had Sam and his mates just capturing souls and that's it.

Ray Wise, the dude who plays the devil rocks extremely hard also. Hard to think of anyone else that has his charm but also fierce reputation.

yeah im up to 17 now, and WOW for the past 2 episodes, they really cranked it up a notch!

if it picked up a bit I might give it a go; I watched the first episode when they had the pilot online on the official site and it didn't do a lot for me

after about ep10 it got really good. the last 5 or so were awsome.
