High speed bonnet surfing, riding in the roof racks of 4wds (lost a mate to that one when the 4wd rolled over).....although, I must admit that the guys in this film clip owned anything we ever did......and wholeheartedly deserve the idiot tag ^_^

Yes....he died. He was on the roof of a 4wd on Fraser Island, the driver was speeding up the beach, swerving in and out of the waves.....when they hit a washout and the the 4wd rolled and killed Andy. Such is the life of a teenager.....you think you know it all....that adults are merely interfering a******s....and you have to make your own mistakes to appreciate your own stupidity. I have never been at the wheel when somebody lost their life....and for that I am truly grateful.

i was in one of them patrols once, what does it is lower pressure on the tyres and a bit of speed around a round about. the first time i shat myself at how easy it was to get it to tip o_O then it got me interested why its so and i read about the ford bronco

engines on them are pretty good too 4.8 8 cylinder nissan aint too bad escpecially with some of the mods they do to them

you'd have to be a noob to get a patrol to tip

and the 4.8 is an inline 6 for what it's worth

ah well my bad, i dont know much about them gaz guzzling soccer mum busses :p

patrols aren't very popular with the soccer mums cos they have a live front axle instead of IFS and are essentially a light truck. they also have a dismal safety score in NCAP :( the few soccer mums that do buy them regardless, go for the 3.0 turbo diesel cos it's actually un-guzzling
