For some reason I only decided to start watching this last week. I grabbed season one and f*** me it's such an awesome show. William Shatner is great in it but the best character is James Spader. Such a smug bastard and completely inappropriate towards the female team with his constant sexual banter.

Anyway, if you're slow like me and haven't tuned in to this show yet then go grab season one now damn you!

agreed: James Spader for the win. it took me awhile to get used to the idea of Captain Kirk doing something new though. I figure most people who've seen the original Star Trek have a hard time getting past that.

I got into this show a year ago.

The characters are just too damn funny. I like how they take serious situations and just treat them with no respect, throw in a good dose of random humour and the fact that the majority of the episodes are stand alone and easy going... and you have an awesome show.

Yeah, I can't stand shows like CSI and Law And Order and I figured this was just another one of those so I never bothered with it. I also had no idea William Shatner was in it either so if I knew that I would have checked it out alot earlier.

I enjoy it too. Season 2 (i think) was done a bit strange so some bits don't work, like some of the stories were filmed significantly after the first lot (which were done when season 1 were done) so you have a single episode with two separate stories that are intertwined within the 45 minutes but with no cross over of characters at all.. It's strange.

Season 3 has characters i don't like and their stories are boring/annoying/stupid/irritating. But the original cast continue to be awesome.

not being familiar with star trek i had no problems enjoying the Denny Crane character :D

Yeah, Ive been watching season 3 late at night and decided to download seasons 1 and 2, soo bloody good.

This is sorta a spin off from "the practice".

The last season of the practice had James Spaders character as a partner at the pratice sueing the other partners for $$ after they fired him. He was represented by Denny Crance. I think Spaders character was in the last season or two of the practice and he stole the show back then as well.

Denny Crane however was far more 1D in the practice, just wandering about sprouting "Denny Crane"

I'm surprised at the few peeps, that used to watch The Practice avidly, aren't tuning into BL.

Hooray!!

Just watched the last ep of season 3 which puts an ending to sitting thru about 68 episodes in just under 3 weeks. Gonna miss seeing the shenanigans of Denny Crane and Alan Shore. Truly an awesome, awesome show.

Now the long wait until season 4.

Great Show. Crane is comic relief and wardrobe king. James Spader is the main focus IMO.

Best show by far on tele. Except I dont watch tele, I just download it :)
