Was wondering if anyone happened to play in any of the Free Poker leagues around ... I know there are a few around but just wanted to know if anyone actually goes. I go 4 times a week but mainly it's tied up with Australian Masters Poker ... Just wanted to know if any qgler's went that's all ...

I play once a week locally with the APL. Far better than the AMP imo

its wank, no on play "properly". they jsut keep hitting till the river.

complete waste of time, you're better off depositing $50 and playing on the $2 NL tables online

also sif socialise with a bunch of problem (but poor) gamblers

LoL ... i do play online at absolutepoker and tonygpoker ... but just like meeting actual people sometimes ... besides it's free and doesn't hurt.

theres s*** load of poker clubs over here where u can go play.... i drop in once a month, on random night. same crowd everytime. quite depressing actually.

I tried a couple of times with AMP. Prefer APL over AMP. Though it is more open to exploitation with their ranking system. I've only been a few times. Can't really be f***ed going to be honest...got over the whole poker thing pretty quick. Especially the free play s***e.
