Thats alot of flights(?) in six days including the return trip.

It'll be worth it..week off from my work is needed aswell, plus chance to get out and see other cities in aus.

Won't ever see these four bands playing together again either..

Sigh, more monies :P

At least it's 4 bands I would see individually anyway all together, so it's a pretty big saving if I look at it that way.

When do tix go on sale?

New Arch Enemy sucks a big one.

Should be good, haven't seen Trivium yet. Can't beat Machinehead + Slayer back at Festival Hall though :D

German are you a frontliner at all? I think you might of mentioned it a long time ago, hopefully should meet up with the band.

MACHINE HEAD TO JOIN METALLICA - London show this weekend

1,000 standing pitch tickets plus some great seats have just been released for the Wembley Stadium show this Sunday. The full supporting bill is now: Atlanta quartet – ‘Mastodon’ followed by Bay Area Thrashers ‘Machine Head’ and taking the stage just before the main event are Finnish royalty ‘HIM’.

HIM -> Mastodon -> Machine Head -> Metallica

All in one day @ Wembley, cant wait :D

probs not buying them for myself tomorrow yet either. It's riverstage so plenty of capacity. I wouldn't be too concerned about it selling for a bit.

German - I saw them last week @ Metaltown in Göteburg (yes they went off). My favourite performance was from Methsuggah though...

(and I know this is blasphemy, but I think Slayer are starting to get a bit washed up)

alan, that isn't blasphemy..it's reality. They can still play like they always have, but it's the same show everytime..nothing new is put into their live performances..

dan..yeah true.

metallica were awesome, played for over 2 1/2 hours, played HEAPS of old s*** and only one or two new songs - I hate their new s***, so I was pretty pumped.

Wembley rocks too - f***ing awesome stadium.

Nice Heardy!

They definetely do have kickass setlists, when they played in Brisbane they only did 3 songs off St Anger, the rest off KEA/Ride/AJFA, some off Black/Load.

James' voice though is constantly going downhill unfortunately :(
