Time to replace the shockn draytek one, anyone running the 802.11n wireless routers? Ideally i'm after an all-in-one, voip, dsl2 modem, switch (optional). I see the netgears and what not, and that billion dont have one out yet.
Ideas? Reviews? Cheers |

i would have though seeing as linksys and netgear have a retail product available that it is ratified by now? also dont seem to see any products that have the voip builtin.

Its not ratified, but I think its Belkin that have "guaranteed compatibility with the eventual ratified standard"

As long as they have a decent firmware update system it probably wouldn't matter, but it's still a little lame to be shipping hardware before the standards are nailed. Especially something like wireless that appears to be so plagued with standarisation problems already even for the current set of standards! |

I'm pretty sure that it has been ratified.
Belkin used to have the "Pre-N" products and now they have the "N1" products. Also santa rosa platform based notebooks come with "N" rated wireless networking. I'm pretty sure, but not 100% last edited by g0atland3r at 15:45:55 15/Jun/07 |
