Are there any programs out there that specify the exact colour used in an image? Cause trying to find one for an image we have in use ... the printing place wants the exact colour apparently ... forking hell!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think u can just put the magic eye dropper over the image in paintshop pro or whatever, and it will tell u the code number of the color

your printer is going to want the CMYK breakdown or more sepcifically if its a corporate colour used in something like a letterhead or business card hes going to want the PMS colour.

d0mino are you a fellow printer? And like d0mino said, if you're getting your job printed with some images from a photograph, you'll need the CMYK breakdown but they should normaly do that for you. If its a Corporate colour for say your logo, see if they'll lend you their PMS book and pick a colour that comes closest to the colour you want. Even still a good printing company should help you through all of this :S its just good service. Any more troubles just head over to us at www.metroprinting.com.au we should be able to help you.
