What's the game like? I didn't know this one was due so soon.

Is it out Nat? If it is, I'm making a stop-off at the store this afternoon... I have been waiting for this game for ages.

BTW, from memory I thought it was coming out like June 9 or something. Also, did anyone see the report that they're stopping you from joining random games with people from other continents? And that they discourage you from using friend codes to directly connect to friends in other continents?

its not out in australia yet, its out in the uk and apparently you can "import" it with a broadband connection.

I've done the training which was awesome fun. Very fast. Crazy. Lots of fun. Tried an online game last night but the first person i got matched with rejected me because the connection wasn't good enough.. i'll try again now with my connection freed up a bit, but we should get a friends tournament going so at least then we'll not have international connection issues.

Edit: I just played some online it's very good. The leaderboard has you randomly playing anyone in the charts. I've so far lost to 3rd and 1st place in the competition. The games are very fast paced. Will go and do some single player to improve my gameplay :-)

Actually i'm losing to lots of people. I've also lost to 4th. 2nd place dropped out of the game with 'connection issues' when his mega shot failed to get through. So it may be open to exploits like disconnecting when you are losing, but it's a lot of fun all the same.

I tried some single player on 'extreme' and got flogged, then dropped it back to normal and won my first game 13-0, so i think i'll stick with extreme for online practice

one match where it rated the connection as "four star" was a big laggy but all the other four star matches have been lag free.

Stikers has a different Friends Code to your console one right?

It does? wtf is the point in that?

dunno what the point is but it's a different game-specific 12 digit code.

I've won my first online match now. I'm loving it. I've moved up to 15th in the charts so there must not be many people playing online yet, or it is limited by geographic region like others have suggested.

not really, you just click on online, chose your Mii, it logs you in automatically, then go to friends league and up the top it'll say your number. Gimme that, and click Add friend and add my number in.

It then should tell us when either is online, and lets you compare your ranking to your friends list as well as play against friends. If you do the league games it's a random match and you don't know who you are playing until you accept it.

Played a bit last night, definatly is a pretty awesome game, I think the servers are struggling bit though, got error getting stats a few times, but once in the game it seemed pretty quick.

Definatly gotta get some Oz action happening.
