Promise me you'll be careful over there. They just don't have the safety standards we have here damn-it!

I'm off to London in a few months as well, most likely august/september, is Kingsburry any good? I've got a place to crash there till i get on my feet. Looking at google maps, looks close enough to the city and apparently takes 40'ish minutes to get to by tube.

Captain America - Kingsbury is zone 4 on the Jubilee line, which is one of the better tube lines (reasonably clean and fast). But yeah it's a bit of a trek from the city, sorta North West London. It's its free though, it's fantastic :)

yeah, i know elphant and castle... yay ministry of sound. i used to live up a london bridge.

captain, juby line is good, but that is a f***ing s*** area, sorry. i used to live just below at willesden green. 4-5years ago, it was all aussies and kiwis and saffas. now its full of f***ing polish and russians.

bit north of willy green is harslden.. neasden. murder capital of london. its a f***ing slum. no whites there.

try get down more to swiss cottage, westhampstead. much nicer.

also, mission to get home from a night out. tubes arnt 24hrs. 98night bus only goes as far as willesden from the city. bit a s*** load in a cab, if they will take u.

haha nightbus fun...

Perivale/ealing here... its quiet enough, not too hard to get to the city or hammersmith/fulham for shennanigans via central line and district line but its mostly industrial around here so its really busy during the week (but hey im at work) and dead quiet at the weekend cept for a few kiddies playing football on the huge streets... metric f***ton better then where i was at stratford, that place is a hole and i can't believe they're going to have the olympics there.. stay away from there...

heh, I don't know any of those area's in London.

When I go there, I stay at Canary Wharf - nice enough place, but a little too far outta town for my liking.

Dublin 4 krew sign in!

thanks : ) I don't know London much so any tips are welcome, I only mentioned Kingsburry as thats probably the first place I'll go to. Got a cousin thats camping out there so I'll probably crash there for a few days till I find something of my own, and the polish part doesnt bother me too much, my fathers polish so I speak the language

I don't think it really matters where you start off in Europe.
For all you know you will meet a hot Danish girl and move to Copenhagen within 3 weeks.
