Hello everybody. As most of you know, I am married to Mav's mum.
The impact of Sue's first Mothers Day without Dale is hitting home, as she has reflected in the memory book on Dales memorial site. Sue often wonders why the site gets so much traffic, yet not many people want to contribute to the memory book. Dales site was created to keep the memories of a strong man alive. Dale made a decision to refuse treatment, instead opting to party hard with his mates and obtain quality over quantity. He did this without once complaining about his fate, and rarely complaining about his pain. With this in mind, we know that he loved his mates, including you guys on QGL. My request, is a simple request for people to share their memories of Dale in the memory book on his site. Sue would love to hear about Dales quality of life that he shared with his mates. The memory book doesn't require email addresses like it did when it was first built, so it is simply a matter of adding a name (real or handle) and comments that will be added to the book. Alternatively, a passing message or best wishes to Sue in the memory book would help ease her pain. Thanks guys ^_^ FB |

Thanks for the memory Paveway. Could I ask a favour mate, could you pump that into the memory book on Dales site for safe keeping. By putting them in the memory book then we can all go back and visit the site to read about his antics, his women, and his general outlook on life. A lot of comments were made in QGL when Dale passed away, but it would be nice if people could repeat those comments in the memory book as a special Mothers Day pressy for Sue.
If anybody has any problems interacting with the site, could they please let me know? |
