Hi Guys,
basically looking for an alcohol / liquor cabinet, which i thought would be easier than it has been. wanted something tall enough to fit a standard bottle of alcohol (if it can fit a bottle of galliano, cool) and enough space inside to put maybe 4-5 bottles of alcohol, and say 6-8 glasses. Also need it to be able to sit on a bench (we have a breakfast bar that would be perfect for it) and have a glass front (cats like climbing in areas they arent supposed to now, where the f*** do i go looking for something like this. freedom, amart, ikea have nothing that really fits the bill, and i wanted somethign reasonably cheap too. go forth and help me keep my alcoholism up. |

You really shouldn't have any left that needs to be stored.
I call skirt. Try second hand and maybe cheaper antique shops. I think liquor cabinets lost fashion long ago, didn't they? |

Grab yourself an empty beer carton and cut out one side. Replace with glad wrap.

I think you'll find most liquor cabinets are part of like a display case.
If you want just the cabinet part i'd sugest looking in more serious wood furniture stores. Especially if ikea didn't have anything. That or just put it all under your pillow. |

thats the thing kat,
freedom had one that looked nice, but it would never have fit anything taller than those 1/2 size vodka bottles, and i thought AMart would have something decent but nup :/ yeah giri, i seem to be finding that especially on ebay. this sucks, i should make one myself. ive watched better homes and gardens... |

Get some wood and make one yourself? I thought about making myself some kind of small drink cart but never bothered.
