I live with people that arn't massive computer nerds so they don't wanna get a better internet connection in the house. I'm stuck using their s***ty adsl 128 i think...via wireless to my pc atm, max speed is like 20kb/s.

Are there any wireless plans out there worth getting atm in the toowong area? I would need in the order of 1-3gig min. per month with decent speed.

I know telstra and optus have wireless internet. Apparently they have websites with plans on them.

You can't just pay for the extra costs of the high speed internets? Install IPCop or something and limit the bandwidth on their PCs.
