Just downloaded forceware 84.63 from nvidia.com started to install ....

Nvidia Setup Error
The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit

:s wtf does that mean and how do i fix this?

have albatron 7950gt card

What OS, what service pack? Fresh install of Windows? Just changed cards?

according to ati catalyst i dont even have a GPU in my machine..

It means your video card is too old to be supported by the newest drivers. That or your computer is broken

Wrong drivers mate.

You are supposed to click "Geforce and TNT2", not "Geforce Go 7" which are for Notebook chips.

Hey I had issues with nvidia's latest drivers for my GeForce 7 card so I thought I'd go back to my 84.21 which has always been trusty. Anyway I got the same error message even though the driver is compatible with these cards so I just went through XP and manually installed it by selecting the driver file and what my card was.
