Most people go to parties on Australia Day to listen to the Hottest 100 and just enjoy being in this awesome country. My mates and I did a bit of a brain storm this year and came up with the following funraiser. We will be donating to the Queensland Cancer Fund, but obviously you can pick any charity you wish... every little bit helps.

We sent an invite to all our friends with the following:


Conditions of entry: everyone needs to bring AT LEAST ten dollars in gold coins (but if you aren’t stingy bring more – it’s for a good cause!)

There are three gold rules as follows
1) NO DRINKING WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND
2) NO SPILLING YOUR DRINK
3) NO POINTING WITH YOUR FINGER AT ANOTHER PERSON, OR THING

Any breach of these rules results in a gold coin donation. Immunity can be bought for $10.

Rules are enforced by everyone there and it's all based on the honesty system. Send an email to the people who will be at the same party as you this Friday with the above rules, and even post up an A3 sheet or two around the house/backyard/pool area listing the three easy rules.

Have fun on Australia Day and raise a bit of money at the same time!

You should add a "No Sleeping with Trogs mum" rule in there, you'd make millions
