I'm considering selling my HP dv4224, how much are you looking to spend?

How much you want to spend and what do you want it for?

I brought a Presario V2656 from Dick Smith for $850 during a run out sale and it works great, the new model is under $1000 and has built in WiFi while my model doesn't. No good for gaming, but my runs a Linux Desktop now, and the M200 chipset is good for older gaming and a bit of EVE so long as your not in a busy sector.

Check http://www.graysonline.com.au/ they have some decent laptops for auction that don't get stupid bids like ebay.

just buy brand new
if you can't get a brand new lappy with wi-fi for under a grand, you're doing something wrong.

also new = warranty too

I've bought 3 myself (Inspiron 8000, 8600, 6400) since 2002 and all have worked flawlessly and they come with pretty decent hardware for what you pay.

That's why I'd buy a Dell.

I got a dell Inspiron 640m for sale.

It has the usual wifi and bluetooth. 60gighdd, 1 gig ram, core2duo cpu, XP Professional, widescreen monitor, DVD burner etc. Its in perfect condition and about 5 months old, hasnt really been used so has heaps of warranty left.

want to sell it for around $900 as I paid close to $1500, just pm me if your interested :)

Compaq V3142

Turion 2ghz, 512mb Ram, GeForce 6150 chipset, DVD Burner, Wifi, etc... 14.1" wide, $1099 - $100 Cashback = $999

They are a nice solid laptop. Probably needs more ram but isn't too bad for sub $1000

Why recommend a Turion? :P

the new x2 ones seem decent though :)
