Awesome game, got about 2700 on my second try.

When you get to the bonus stage, is it better to stack the combo rockets or the fire splash cannons?

i've had the most luck with selling all my stuff and dumping combo rockets everywhere, i cant get past the 3rd or 4th bonus stage tho it gets impossible heh

Thats what i did last time. This time I'm gonna try getting heaps of fire cannons instead.

I got 6497, died on the bonus where they have 20k hp.

I tried building lots of level 1 fire towers instead of fewer level 3s. Seemed to work a bit better. But in the end i got pwnt.

Theres only 5 bonus rounds

For the bonus rounds i found it was best to stack fire towers with some water towers, slowing them down and grouping them up to fully utilize the fire's splash. I have around 5K gold at first bonus round with the way ive been doing it. There must be better ways tho cause im only scoring around 11K mark at the end :(

Don't tell me level 30 is the last level... I've been playing for hours upon hours... finally got to the last level and it pulls some IMMUNE and FAST bulls***.

Yea Obes i do but most of the time it doesnt work for me. sometimes it does tho, trust me ive been clicking everywhere, on the roads, lil bits of grass even planting a tower i have selected wont work.

Its only when ive already selected a tower to build then select an already built tower to check stats
no biggie just makes me cry

I played for hours and I realised...

You only need 2 fully upgraded cannons till level 7... then you build 2 fire towers and you're set.

When I rebooted I got a "NTLDR is missing" message and had to revert the bios to default settings to fix it.

does anyone know what is better? Fully upgraded fire towers or the combo towers upgraded? Last game I played I assumed the combo towers were better because of their rediculous range and damage, but I don't know if a heap of fire towers would be better for their speed??

i also only just worked out that the circle around the buildings when you put them down is their range:(

Pretty sure after you've hit level 30 you should start selling everything off and just buy combo towers... they are the bomb.

Level 38 says "The last level" dunno if it is or not ... mobs have 20k hits ... had 7 upgraded rockets and 6 level 3 fire eles and 7 water eles ... leaked 8 on 37 and about 14 on 38

The interest is important ... minimise your spending
My wood upgrades I go fire, then water then interest, then earth.
Don't build a single arrow or flying tower. First fliers come after level 7 and fire towers take down flyers.

1 - 7 I build the minimum number of cannons to hold em down. End of 7 I had enough cash to build 2 fire towers (and change left over) and they held it for ages.

Did you here the noises that those albatross' make? I had them on level 17 and they sound like Jenna Jameson at her best!!!

at the moment i can get around 20k by pretty much using 3 cannons till the flight round 7. then go fire.. then interest, sell some cannons and go more fire.. then interest.. and go nuts with fire.

do you fully upgrade your fire or just to the second last one and build more instead?

Man the 2nd boss is hard, I can never kill him.

also are the Earth towers good for anything ?

Earth towers are good for damage - especially the upgrades, but it appears to only fire at slow pace. man this is addictive!

3878... couldn't get past level 38... leaked about 15 on 37.

I sold my fire prior to the bonus levels and built around 5 rocket towers and 10 water towers.

Ended up with around 7 or 8 rocket towers (upgraded) and 15 water towers (level 2).

I made it to lvl 38 and got then got pwned

i got over 5000 today, but couldn't beat level 38

i had like 8 or 10 or so mostly fully upgraded fire towers and 2 or 3 water towers

Water towers f***ing suck... they just keep shooting the first enemy... if they weren't such noobs they could group them up way better.

I was actually very close at beating lvl38.

I went into it with 19 lives (damn 3rd boss ate 1) I managed to kill a few on the first pass I threw down a few more rocket towers when I realised they were uber tough, then after a few died I had enough for another rocket.

What I shoulda done was let a few leak then buy more lives instead of slapping down the last ditch rocket tower. Most of em shoulda been cleaned up on the 2nd pass.

I was short by 3 lives in the end of having a 2nd pass attempt :(

At the end I had something like 8-10 fully upgraded combo/rocket towers all in the middle, 2 fire towers, 3 cannons and 2 water towers.

I was soooooooo close to beating level 38 without any leaked (as you can see only 4 leaked).

Basically going into the bonus levels, I had 2500 gold @ 15% interest and held onto it as long as possible which allowed me to build 2 or so rockets purely off the interest.

You can see my setup (all water towers are level 1) and the rocket towers are piled on top of eachother to cover nearly the whole map.

I kept losing on 38 :(

Yeah I get f***ed up on level 38 as well, never would've imagined putting so many water towers down...and I stacked myself with fire towers when I should have been selling them for the rockets.

I'll try again tomorrow.

My tips.

-Sell your TWO (that's all you need) cannons once you get fire towers at the first air level.
-Get your interest upgrade BEFORE you get water (you only need water to slow down the 2nd boss, till then build up money).
-Only upgrade your fire towers to level 3 and you only need 4 (possibly 3 but I don't risk it) till the fast/immune (then you get a rocket)
-Before you get to the HARD CREEPS level, you should have 2000+ (also sell your fires).
-First hard creep level, you only need 4 rockets, second you only need 6 (I think)... use this time to get get 500+ interest each turn instead of plonking down heaps of rockets.

Finished, score 5824, leaked 4 on the last level.

I still can't finish it :p

I don't know what score I ended up with Gaz, but I've completed Level 38 now with NO creeps leaked.

I'll replay tonight and screenshot it.

think its more about the gold accumulation than the level.

Woooo finally finished it.

Had 5 rocket towers plus a stack of water and a few fire on 37, then by 39 I had about 10 fully upgrade rocket towers, plus water and fire. Made short work of 39, 38 was harder.

yeah whoever said water towers are crap is right, i went with gaz's method of a s*** load of fire towers upgraded to level 3, i don't think the 100 damage is worth the 150 gold for 4th level upgrade to them

Covered the ENTIRE map in level 1 fire towers + water towers (after 2 interest upgrades).

Eventually I took up the whole map (at the second last level or so), so I just went skizt clicking randomly and hitting "U".

The game was struggling to handle it, had to turn it down to low quality.

i like to use leakage as an indicator of how close to the money i am.. 1 or 2 cant hurt.. the second boss i might let go around twice next time so im on even money rather than spending what i really dont need to for the next few rounds.

36835, finished with 25k gold. Spam fire tower strat works well, kinda silly 100 gold in upgrades isnt better than 2 extra fire towers.

well i just played it but i think it might be buggy. after a few rounds it just kept adding my interest after interest after interest. so i managed to finish it
and by pressing n between the last level and before it says you win i got to level 40 lol.
