Last I heard (a couple of weeks ago) Telstra had sent greypages an order to take down the site. From what I understand the guys at greypages dont have funds to fight it so it may not be up for long.

Where can one get the database from?

It's encrypted and can only be got by purchasing it. I think the only place you can still get it is Sensis.

There are torrents that contain some of the source data in csv for private and residential, then an update released later in 2006.

There's also a program (getting a bit old now) called DTMS, which Telstra sued, and i'm guessing that's what their 2005 data is based on.
