Heh s***, looking at it like that is a kind of painful realisation of how very few bands in the line-up I care about seeing live.

I mean, there's enough decent artists there, but only a handful that I think would actually put on a worthwhile live performance (for my tastes). Looks like I'll be rocking up at 7pm after a nice day at the beach.

Might have to grab tickets to the Trivium side show instead, if there's any left.

I wouldn't really call it a stampede as the 2 stages are side by side.

hey did anyone go in the draw for more tickets? a couple of people i know went in and all got tickets - got me thinking maybe they just did the whole raffle thing to sort out scalpers from legitimate buyers. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered everyone in the raffle tickets - pending numbers of course...

I was in the Sydney ballot and got nada. Had to do the old ebay thing. Ended up selling Gold Coast tickets for the same price I paid for the Sydney ones which I was pretty happy about.
