Have now wasted a second gig & alot more time d/loading Gothic3 thru Ausgamers for the second time.First time's a mistake, second, something's not right.Reading the inst's b4 d/load it mentions a zip file & installing dx9c.After completion it isn't in zip form anyway. After installation it only responds with "try reinstalling d3dx9_29.dll".I've had DX9c installed for along time now & I reckon most other people would have too.
Reinstalled it again anyway. What files are'nt coming thru? |

The file the software requires is not a file installed as part of a typical DirectX installation. A more recent and complete version is required, available at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=56513&clcid=0x409. Hope this fixes your problem.

Thanks! Is the Ausgamers file meant' to d'load as a zip or not though?
As I could'nt find a DX file anyway.P.S. No answer yet but to save others the same hassle. You will definitely need to d/load the dx9.0c add-on or the game will not work.Unless the extra is included in the latest version.Makes u wonder why they dont change the updated vers to 9.0 frickin d or something,so people would know! last edited by w at 19:10:17 06/Jan/07 last edited by w at 19:10:29 06/Jan/07 last edited by w at 19:10:50 06/Jan/07 |
