Hey kids, what time is it??? I'm a new member with a brannd new xbox 360. I npend my time online at work, but now want to get broadband at home for xbox live etc. I disconnected my landline about 3 months ago because of lack of use. My mission: to find a broadband ISP with reliable record, preferably that I can get my land line through as well at discount rates etc. I don't want to spend much more than $60 a month on phone and web combined, but I do want at least 5GB download and 512/128 minimum. I checked out wireless broadband but it seems to be a rip off with poxy download limits. Oh and I'm in Perth. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks FrantiK |

donno if its different in adelaide but here in Brissie AAPT gives a pretty good deal. I think you can get landline and 512k adsl with 12gig d/l for about 70 or 80 bucks a month on no contract and a free modem or at least you could 6 months ago

I'd recommend Internode. Pricings are various and they support 'fast churning' (http://www.internode.on.net/adsl/faq/churn.htm#1) between internet service providers if your not happy with their service. 256kbit / 64kbit HOME-256-Starter* $29.95 256k / 64k 500 MB Shaped 512kbit / 128kbit HOME-512-Starter $39.95 512k / 128k 8 GB Shaped HOME-512-Value $49.95 512k / 128k 20 GB Shaped HOME-512-Pro $69.95 512k / 128k 40 GB Shaped HOME-512-Elite $109.95 512k / 128k 80 GB Shaped 1500kbit / 256kbit HOME-1500-Starter $59.95 1500k / 256k 10 GB Shaped HOME-1500-Value $69.95 1500k / 256k 20 GB Shaped HOME-1500-Pro $89.95 1500k / 256k 40 GB Shaped HOME-1500-Elite $129.95 1500k / 256k 80 GB Shaped Note: Home Symmetric 512/512 services are available at the same price points as 1500/256 above. http://www.internode.on.net/adsl/pricing/home.htm If your still confused over which internet service provider then may I suggest you try looking at: http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/bc-list.cfm?loc=5 This lists all the internet companies that support Western Australia. If your about reputation well: http://www.internode.on.net/about/awards/index.htm last edited by Kimbo at 08:43:06 31/Dec/06 |
