I just got a message from nintendo on my wii saying the weather channel is available now.

so i did a wii channel update for the weather channel and activated it.

pretty funky.

sweet. mine was glowing blue but i didn't notice. I went straight to my messages (does anyone else's not always show new messages on the main screen?) and read the message and clicked update. Now I'm wondering if I needed to do that update because it should have done it when it was switched off...

i think i remember reading a few sites that have been saying that opera will be coming before xmas and news channel will be early jan or something...

btw, how long is the update taking for you guys?
