Again for you Queenslanders... the traceurs (practioners of parkour) meet every Saturday the majority of the time.
There's 2 groups at the moment, a city group that will train at CBD/Southbank/KP/QUT/UQ... and a Sunshine Coast group that nearly exclusively trains at kings beach, caloundra. www.pkaus.com Anyone is welcome to come along, regardless of skill, there will be a dozen people at least (including me) that will run you through the fundamental techniques (how to roll to break impact from height, basic vaults, wall runs to get up high walls ect). So think about it punks :) People that don't like the idea of 30+ traceurs at a large Saturday jam can just PM me and we can sort out a smaller sesssion, all the way down to a one on one if you like. |

You can joke all you like :) Though I take parkour very seriously and I take great pride in teaching others who genuinely want to learn, I put in a lot of time and effort so that other people can meet their goals.
So if anyone has ANY interest at all in parkour, I urge you to contact me... I can take you out into the urban enviroment so you can fully comprehend the discipline. Haven't met 1 person yet that has come trained, that didn't love it. Even unfit/overweight people have had a blast :) |
