I predict easter eggs will be on sale in January next year. I know Coles had theirs on display last February so it should be interesting to see if they push for an even earlier date in January.

All those poor parents.
I think it would be terrible having small children who are waiting for / excited about Christmas. From September they see the decorations in the shopping centres, ads on tv for christmas marketing. So then you get the questions...Whens santa coming? Oh johnny, only another 90 sleeps! Jeebus! |

Captive: I can't see anything negative about it really. Our local shopping centre didn't put up decorations until November and while the eldest has asked, I only got the 'How long' question this morning because she hs slack and still hasn't written to santa yet and her time is running out..... Christmas is so much more fun with kids |

the only reason i really like christmas now is because i like my family getting together, but as the years go on christmas sux and they wont get together cos theyre to lazy to travel a couple of hours, which is quite depressing, me and my mate had a bit of a no family christmas last year cos we were living together and his family were from melbourne and mine all up north but everyone travelled down for boxing day and we all got pissed, hoorah!
This christmas i want a cure for cancer already, f***in santa you rude c***. hey santa claus you c*** where's me f***ing cure i've unwrapped all this other s*** and it's nothing but manure i've wrote you a f***in letter, and come to see you twice you worn out geriatric c*** i want me f***in cure. |

the street that comes off mine used to go absolutely INSANE with lights but because of thieving little vandal motherf***ers who need to be taken out to the bush and shot and bad storms that tore up the lights, that street no longer bothers. It's a shame really, there were some awesome lighting displays. Entire houses/yards all lit up all in a row. I bet it chewed some serious wattage too.
