Chev Chelios is a professional assassin working for the West Coast crime syndicate. Chev's girlfriend Eve doesn't know what Chev does and Chev is planning to quit the crime syndicate so he can spend more time with her. But for Chev, things are about to get very bad, when he learns he has been injected with a poison called "The Beijing Cocktail" by his rival Verona, which will kill him if his heart rate drops. Trying to stay alive and seeking help from friend, Kaylo and Doc Miles, to keep his heart pumping. Chev sets out to find answers as well as protecting Eve, and get his revenge on those who have betrayed him before the poison kills him.

OMG!

This has got to be one of the best action/comedy movies I've seen in ages. I remember when I first saw the trailer ages ago I was thinking it looked like a cool action movie but I had no idea it was gonna be hilarious and just plain wack in some parts. Whoever wrote this movie is a f***ing legend and to come up with some of the s*** that went on is down-right genius. A few scenes come to mind that had me in tears; the canary getting shot in the birdcage and the god-damn sex scene in Chinatown. Holy f*** that was hilarious and then for the grand finale they finish that sequence with a blow-job being performed while in a high speed car chase.

If you wanna see an awesome action movie that doesn't take itself seriously then check this one out. Such a good popcorn flick.

Saw it and I noted the following:

- Action packed
- Very entertaining
- Pretty Funny
- Good dose of heavy violence
- Not a dull moment
- Statham's menace character suits him so well
- Go see it
- You wont be disappointed
- The above points overlap and are redundant

i loved crank.. just the right sort of action movie that didn't take itself too seriously.

i got the ringtone from the movie too on my phone.. its great.. people look at me funny when it goes off and sounds like my phone is dying :D
