I enjoy ali-g/borat a lot, but that doesn't mean he didn't take advantage of these people. It's well known that he does ambush interviews, contacting people and appearing as a legitimate show that they would agree to do, setting the camera rollig then appearing in his baggies and bling expecting to shock them and put them off - that's part of the funny.

By 'wrong' i don't mean he shouldn't be doing it, i just mean that occasionally people are going to fight back, and that's part of ambushing people like he does. Wasn't this the largest opening weekend of a non-animated comedy ever? I see no reason why he shouldn't hand over some of that cash to some of the disadvantaged people that helped make his movie so funny.. it's just a shame the lawyers had to get involved. There's no reason to cash-up the jocks or the pollies, but it can only make him look good if the people he used that were in that situation through no fault of their own got new cow-s*** houses out of it, or a running well or something.. more than the bare minimum that they could get away with at the time now that they know they are cashed up.
