By default you cannot see the built-in user "Administrator" account from the log on screen To see the "Administrator" user you will need to boot into Safe Mode.

off the top of my head I think if you change from the fancy log on screen thing to the traditional log on screen you can put in username administrator?

Install tweakUI xp version and under the "logon" bit it has a bunch of show user on the login screen options. Just tick Show Administrator on welcome screen and you're laughing.

To see the "Administrator" user you will need to boot into Safe Mode.

You don't need to boot into safe mode
Pressing "CTRL+ALT+DEL" twice will also allow you to access Admin at the logon screen
